Wolverine Pep Band

Do you want to be a part of one of the most spirited organizations on campus? Do you want to be a vital part of LHS sporting events? Become a member of the Wolverine Pep Band!

Students have the option to join the Wolverine Marching Band or Wolverine Pep Band. The Pep Band season is typically November through February.  The Pep Band provides music for several home boys and girl’s basketball games, along with various pep rallies and other functions needed. All students are required to stay for the entire game. The Pep Band runs through the mid-Spring Semester. This large group has a lot of fun and provides incredible spirit and energy to all events!  Popular music is rehearsed and performed.  A participation fee of $150.00 is required.

Students who are on the varsity basketball squad, varsity cheerleaders, are excused from playing in the Pep Band.  Others who have religious obligations will also be excused with a note from a parent.

​

The Pep Band performance is treated the same as the winter or spring concert.  Failure to attend will result in the lowering of the grade.  Please refer to the absence policy for missed performances and makeup requirements.

REGULAR SEASON PERFORMANCES:

  • Home boy's and girls’ basketball games.

  • Various pep rallies and other functions needed

 

POST-SEASON PERFORMANCES:

  • District Tournament

  • Region Tournament
